Looking at Ads
Logos: Logos of an advertisment is straightforward-it tells you exactly what the product does, how it works, what it is used for.
Ethos: Ethos is adcertising refers to establising the credibility or character of the product.
Pathos: Pathos refers to an emotional appeal. An advertisement using pathos will attempt to provoke an emotional response in the consumer.
This is a Ethos ad. becuase Kim Kardashian is a icon that everyone likes both sex men and women. When a women sees this ad. she's going to want it becuase Kim is showing sexyness and glamorous and all women are going to want to be like her.
This is a Logo becuase its being straight foward and telling exactly how much the product cost and whos the stylest. Also how you can personalizes each pair of heels how every you want them. I also think it's an Ethos becuase, people would buy it since Kim's name is on it. Since shes famous.

"Makers of teen TV argue that they’re only reflecting the real world; media is just a mirror." (The Giant Feedback Loop, 6:50) |
- List 3 things you learned or that surprised you
-2. Mostly all the shows are for teens to watch.
-3. There are people that go out in research of what is cool and what teens like to watch and buy.
2. Respond to each quote: How does this statement make you feel? Do you agree or disagree?
So you can give them what you want them to have" (MTV Machine, 9:40) Mark Crispin-Miller, Communications Professor @ NYU
-What their are trying to say with this quote is that they are giving teens what they are intrested in. Also what they like to watch, becuase that way they can make more money if they like what they get.
"Makers of teen TV argue that they’re only reflecting the real world; media is just a mirror." (The Giant Feedback Loop, 6:50)
- I agree becuase everything that is going on and how teens are changing as in growing through out the years the media is also changing.
