Looking at Ads

Logos: Logos of an advertisment is straightforward-it tells you exactly what the product does, how it works, what it is used for.
Ethos: Ethos is adcertising refers to establising the credibility or character of the product.
Pathos: Pathos refers to an emotional appeal. An advertisement using pathos will attempt to provoke an emotional response in the consumer.

This Advertisment is ethos because the man in the picture is Memo Ochoa. He's a famouse mexican soccer goalie. In this ad. he is showing that he's tired and thirsty and drinking a PowerAide to kill his thirst. Also every guy that plays soccer will buy this becuase he is famous and drinking this while he goes back to playing soccer.

This is a Ethos ad. becuase Kim Kardashian is a icon that everyone likes both sex men and women. When a women sees this ad. she's going to want it becuase Kim is showing sexyness and glamorous and all women are going to want to be like her.
This is a Logo becuase its being straight foward and telling exactly how much the product cost and whos the stylest. Also how you can personalizes each pair of heels how every you want them. I also think it's an Ethos becuase, people would buy it since Kim's name is on it. Since shes famous.

-What their are trying to say with this quote is that they are giving teens what they are intrested in. Also what they like to watch, becuase that way they can make more money if they like what they get.

"Makers of teen TV argue that they’re only reflecting the real world; media is just a mirror."  (The Giant Feedback Loop, 6:50)
